Rainy Fall Engagement Session at Lindenwood Park

Another rainy day threatened to cancel this fall engagement session at Lindenwood Park. However, my couple was feeling adventurous and wanted to go for it!  We met a little earlier than plan to try and take advantage of the sun through the rain clouds. Mother Nature was on our side and even though everything was wet, it was the perfect weather for an engagement session! Since it had rained the day before and most of the day before the session, the fall colors looked extra vibrant!  There were also plenty of leaves on the ground to complete the fall look!

Kristian and Kylie met at Concordia during a party at Kristian’s house. They didn’t actually connect after that until a year later when Kristian reached out and asked Kylie to go swing dancing with him!  She turned him down because of prior obligations, but they went on a coffee date later that week. Now they are happily engaged and planning their dream wedding! If case you are curious like I was, they found another time to go on their swing dancing date!

Kristian and Kylie are now planning a beautiful September wedding at RiverHaven Event Center. They will get married with the river and trees behind them out the large ceremony windows, and then celebrate into the night with family and friends! I can’t wait to for their wedding day and getting the chance to photograph these two again! They are so much fun to work with and such a sweet couple.
