Rainy Wedding Day in Devils Lake, ND

Kaylin and Adam got married on a beautiful rainy day in Devils Lake, ND. The ceremony was at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and the reception was right by the lake at the Odessa Event Center! It was the perfect spot to celebrate their sweet spring wedding.

Kaylin and Adam met through mutual friends and have been together ever since! They took a road trip to Duluth and spent a morning hiking to Gooseberry Falls. At the bottom of the waterfall, Adam proposed to Kaylin and she of course said yes! I can’t think of many places more romantic to get engaged than at the bottom of a waterfall!

This sweet couple is used to the rain, since it was a rainy day for their engagement session as well! We agreed that just after the rain is their ideal time for photos, since it has now happened more than once. As we were about to go out for photos, the rain stopped and clear up enough for us to walk around Downtown Devils Lake. The rain stayed away for the rest of the evening and we got the perfect glowy sunset over the lake. They danced together on the sandy beach and enjoyed a few minutes out in the cool air before going back inside to continue their celebration with their friends and family!
