Hello there! My name is Alecs and I am so excited that you found my blog! Now it's time to cuddle up with your favorite furry friend, mine is my cat Goof, and start reading!
When I asked Kirsten and Kevin where they wanted to do their engagement photos, they had the perfect idea. They wanted to do them where they first met! Who knew that a sunset engagement session at a North Fargo Dog Park could be so pretty! When I heard that they met at a dog park, I immediately thought of the opening scene of 101 Dalmatians. Apparently dogs are the perfect partners for breaking the ice!
While we waited for the sun to set, we added some variety to the session by stopping in Downtown Fargo for some pictures. I love mixing nature backgrounds with some downtown ones as well! You can get a completely different look, with just a quick location change. And even better, the green ivy wall downtown ties everything together perfectly!
I am glad we fit in this engagement session before the leaves started to fall. Kirsten and Kevin are one of my winter weddings, where there will be no leaves in sight! They are getting married at the beautiful Whitefish Lodge in Northern Minnesota. We are hoping for temperatures of at least 20 degrees above zero! At least we can reminisce on this beautiful September evening when we are freezing in January!
Congratulations again Kirsten and Kevin! I will see you in January for your winter wonderland wedding!
I love people in love! Contact me today to schedule your engagement session!
