Amber and Evan picked a beautiful summer evening for their Downtown and Dike East engagement session! We started at the old train station in downtown, and took advantage of all the beautiful flowers they have planted around the station! It is such a pretty spot in Fargo, and I love when couple’s suggest it!

After taking plenty of photos downtown, we went over to Dike East for more engagement photos! Amber requested a spot along the Red River, and we ended up with the perfect spot. Dike East was full of people fishing and enjoying the nice summer evening. The area is big enough though, that we found our own little spot along the river! The evening was a little smoky, which made the sunset extra golden on the water. I couldn’t believe how pretty the Red River looked for photos! Usually the river is much more muddy and red, but it was almost a blue-green this night. It was a perfect backdrop!

Amber and Evan are planning a beautiful spring wedding at the Armory Event Center in Moorhead, MN. They fell in love with the brick interior and large windows throughout the venue. I can’t wait to see their wedding plans come together and get to celebrate with them in April! It is going to be amazing!
