Emily and Lucas are getting married next year at Fair Hills Resort just outside of Detroit Lakes! They loved that family and friends can stay at the property with them and they can spend more time with everyone! The venue was also kind enough to let us use the property for engagement photos. Lakeside engagement photos are a dream and I still can’t believe how blue the water! The morning was chilly, but it was perfect along the lake. I can’t wait to use some of the same spots for their wedding day next year!

These two met through Emily’s step sister and her husband. Lucas went to high school with both of them! Emily and Lucas became fast friends at a mutual event for her step sister. They had been talking for about a month when Lucas got to plunge head first to meeting the whole family at a wedding! They obviously didn’t scare him off, because now Emily and Lucas are planning their dream wedding!
