Taylah Rocked Her Lakeside Senior Portrait Session

The summers may be short here in the upper midwest, but we sure make the most of them!  Which usually means spending our free time soaking up the sun at the lake. That is exactly how Taylah spends her summers! Between relaxing, paddle boarding, and spending time with her family, Taylah loves lake life. It only made sense that we would do a lakeside senior portrait session!

Taylah has been looking forward to her senior pictures since late last year. However, they were worth the wait! We had the perfect summer evening on the lake for pictures. Taylah had so many great outfits and amazing location ideas!  I love traveling to locations that are special to my clients. Taylah showed me around and we found so many fun places! A huge shout out to all the great neighbors that allowed us to use their land for photos. One of the best parts of lake life is definitely the friendly people! We walked around from spot to spot and waved at neighbors as we went. By the end of the session, Taylah was spotting amazing locations that I would have missed!

I told Taylah she needs to take me shopping!  I couldn’t believe how many amazing outfits she has!

Not everyone can pull off smiling and a model face, but Taylah rocks both!!

A week before the session, I got a text asking if I was comfortable photographing from a boat. The answer is of course YES! I love adventurous seniors!

I could have spent all day photographing Taylah! But of course, the sun had to set and we ended our night with a few photos on the dock.
