Colorful Fall Engagement Session at Buffalo River State Park

The colors were perfect for Madisen and Brody’s engagement session at Buffalo River State Park. Fargo-Moorhead seems to be behind with the fall color this year, but plenty of colorful leaves are found just east of town! We spent the session exploring the park, talking about our favorite TV shows, and of course taking beautiful photos. Brody may have joked that Madisen has seen Friends and Parks and Rec too many times, but I also rewatch those shows and lost count on how many times I have seen them. It is always a plus when I can tell a couple to pivot and they know exactly what scene in Friends I am referring to. I just wish I had found out that Madisen is a Parks and Rec fan sooner, because we both could talk about it all day!

Madisen and Brody are a sweet couple who love adventure and making each other laugh. Brody proposed to Madisen at a place called Three Island Park on a bridge over the river. They spent many summer days fishing, having mini photo shoots, and just hanging out there. On the day Brody proposed, it was just the two of them out at the park. It was quiet, romantic, and absolutely perfect.

Since Brody proposed on a bridge, I knew the bridge at Buffalo River State Park would be perfect for their engagement photos!

Madisen’s engagement ring is beautiful and so classy!  I love everything about it!

We spotted this red tree on the way into the park. It was too perfect to pass up so we stopped for a few photos on the way out!

It is easy to see that Madisen and Brody love spending time together!  They are always laughing and having a great time!
