Best of 2017 – Fargo & Bismarck, ND

It is the end of another year and a beginning of a new one. While we look forward to all the great things to come, it is a good time to reflect on the best of 2017.

Can you believe 2017 is over?

This year has been a crazy one.  Not only was I photographing weddings, but I also got married myself.   Now I have finally seen a wedding day from both sides of the camera. Who knew planning a wedding was so much work!  I learned so much being in front of the camera for once. (Like how long it actually takes to use the bathroom while wearing a wedding dress…) From planning all the details, to picking out the dress, all the way to the wedding day.  I am excited to put everything I learned into my business.  I can now fully relate to brides (and grooms!) and help make their wedding day as stress-free as possible.

Thankfully, even with planning my own wedding, I still found time for a lot of new stuff in my business. This year I launched a new website and start blogging. I finally have my own, simple domain for my website. If you are a long-time client, you will remember how long my old URL was.  Now it is just, akpphoto.com.  Isn’t that so much easier to remember? And the site is so pretty! If you haven’t had a chance to look around my new site, go take a look now. Once my new site launched, I was able to start a blog as well.  Since you are reading this, you have successfully found the blog!  Like the top photos of 2017?  Explore the blog for more photos from each session, and of course, check back each week for new posts!

2017 was an amazing year, but I am ready for 2018. I have my goals set, and this is going to be a great year for AKP Photography!
