Engagement Session at Buffalo River State Park

It was another cold engagement session, but this amazing couple still laughed and had fun the entire time!  Lindsey and Clay are such a blast to be around and they always make each other smile. We started their engagement session by walking around Buffalo River State Park and stopping wherever there was still some fall colors!  The North Dakota wind may have blown away most of the leaves, but the tall grasses were beautiful! Then, towards the end, we were able to find a patch of trees that were still holding on to their leaves!  It turned out perfect and I am so glad we got their session in before the snow started to fall.

Lindsey and Clay met while studying at NDSU in the same department. Lindsey was finishing her bachelor’s degree and Clay was just starting his master’s!  They worked together on a field survey, started dating, and now four years later they are planning their dream wedding! They are getting married next fall at the stunning RiverHaven Events Center in Moorhead!  RiverHaven is a newly renovated venue and I can’t wait to photograph Lindsey and Clay’s wedding there!

Congratulations again you two!

I still can’t get over how beautiful Lindsey’s engagement ring is!  It’s so unique and very photogenic! These two were telling me all about their wedding bans as well, and they sound just as amazing, if not more! It’ll be a long wait for next fall when I can see their full wedding ring set!
