Jenna & Dan – Avalon Event Center

Jenna and Dan had the perfect fall wedding at the Avalon Events Center! The air was still warm, but the leaves in Lindenwood were starting to change. There were so many sweet details throughout this wedding day. Jenna did a first look with Dan’s three sons and they did a family unity ceremony during the wedding ceremony. Jenna also had a photo on her bouquet of a dear friend that had passed away. They did a toast for her during dinner, and then we went out to see the most amazing sunset to end the day!

Jenna and Dan met at a UND hockey game and became instant friends! Crazy enough, they grew up pretty parallel to each other their whole lives. They had mutual friends for years and even know some of each other’s family members growing up! They started dating and then last Thanksgiving, got engaged!

Dan asked Jenna to go for a walk, but she needed some convincing. It was cold and windy outside and Jenna didn’t want to leave the warm house. They finally made it outside, but once they got past the shelter of the house and the wind hit them, Jenna really didn’t want to keep walking. Since Dan still insisted on the walk, Jenna knew something was up! She started to pat Dan down looking for a ring! Dan gave Jenna a hug, got down on one knee, and pulled out the ring. Jenna said yes, and they went back inside to celebrate with family!
