Hello there! My name is Alecs and I am so excited that you found my blog! Now it's time to cuddle up with your favorite furry friend, mine is my cat Goof, and start reading!
It is that time of year again! Time to update family photos and start planning for holiday cards. After some weather troubles, this family finally has some new photos from their family portrait session in Lindenwood Park!
Last year, we picked a day, meet at a park, and found the perfect spot out of the wind. This year, we picked a day and quickly realized Mother Nature had other plans! The first evening we chose ended up being dark with 40mph winds. That’s obviously not ideal for family photos with two young kids! The next evening look promising, but again Mother Nature had other plans. North Dakota had its first blizzard of the year in early October. Thankfully, the third time was the charm! We had a lovely evening with great weather.
You may recognize this family of four from their photos last year. Or possibly from Bennett’s one year photos! If you have not seen his lumberjack themed cake smash, you better go take a look!
This family always amazes me with their great outfit choices. This year they came in the perfect mix of floral and plaid. That may sound like too much print, but the ladies had grey sweaters to help break it up! Not every family is adventurous to try out prints, https://www.pinterest.ca/akpphoto/but this family made it work perfectly!
Don’t forget about your holiday cards! Contact me today to schedule a family session!
