Ann Marie and Karan had a magical spring rainy wedding day at Rustic Oaks. The forecast all week threatened rain and thunderstorms, but the day of brought warmer air and light rain throughout the day. These two braved the rain and still wanted all the photos and ceremony outside! It ended up being perfect!

Ann Marie and Karan met on a volunteer trip to Ecuador during college in 2017. As one of their groomsmen said during speeches, he introduced them during the trip and quickly became the third wheel in everything they did! Their proposal was simple and sweet. Karan wanted it to be a surprise and decided to propose by a peaceful, scenic spot along the Missouri River. They had spent many days talking, enjoying each other’s company, and taking breaks along the river. Karan proposing in the spot felt very meaningful, romantic, and perfect for Ann Marie!

This wedding day had so many memorable moments. From Ann Marie having the perfect henna on her hands and feet, to the letters they wrote each other being put in a box during their ceremony, to their friends and family lining up to hug and take pictures with them before the reception started. Every part of the day was perfect for this couple!
