Hello there! My name is Alecs and I am so excited that you found my blog! Now it's time to cuddle up with your favorite furry friend, mine is my cat Goof, and start reading!
Rachel and Cole wanted something fun and unique for their engagement session. They wanted to roast marshmallows over the fire, make smores, and drink hot chocolate! A sunrise engagement session by the campfire is the perfect idea for fall! We met early in Lindenwood Park, just as the sun was starting to rise. That gave us plenty of time to struggle to start a campfire. We had everything we needed to start the fire quickly, but it just wouldn’t start! Thankfully Cole was willing to give it a try and he got it started for us. Before too long, we were nice and warm next to the fire and it was time to start making smores!
Cole proposed to Rachel by recreating their first date. He got down on one knee where they had their first kiss and pulled out a ring! These two love spending time together on fun dates. Whether it was roasting marshmallows, sipping hot chocolate, or hanging out under the willow trees, these two had a blast and always make each other laugh! I can’t wait for their beautiful wedding next summer!
Congratulations again Rachel & Cole!
I love that these two decided to use regular sticks for their marshmallows! You don’t need anything fancy to make the perfect smore!
Lindenwood Park has the perfect campground for engagement photos! I was able to call ahead and book the campsite on the far end. It was peaceful and quite, perfect for an engagement session with the campfire!
Can’t forget the whip cream!
Engagement season is here! Send me a message and we can chat all things wedding!
