Katie and Eric had the perfect winter wonderland wedding at the Nativity Catholic Church in Fargo. We had gotten enough snow to cover the ground and trees and the weather was warmer than it had been all week. Inside, the church was cozy with plenty of room for all of the couple’s friends and family.

Katie and Eric met about five years ago. They both knew they had met someone special, but nothing came of it. Over the next few years, they would see each other in passing. Their secret crushes towards one another kept growing. Her sisters even mentioned Katie’s crush on Eric during their speeches. Katie would offer to go with her sister to a basketball game, just to see Eric play. Finally the stars aligned and they started talking and spending more time together. Now they get to spend the rest of their lives together!

Their proposal story is so sweet! Katie was heading to a wedding dress appointment, before she was even engaged, and was running late. When she arrived and went back to the fitting room, Eric was down on one knee and asked her to marry him. He said she shouldn’t get a dress without the ring first!
