Lakeside Beach Wedding in Detroit Lakes

Saturday was the perfect day for a lakeside beach wedding in Detroit Lakes! Amber and Tyler picked the perfect spot out on the water to get married. I love that they chose the lakeside beach for their wedding. The water is special to Amber and Tyler because Tyler proposed out on a lake. Tyler was showing off his new boat to Amber when he said, “Oh, and it came with this.” He got down on one knee and pulled out the ring! From their engagement, to their wedding, the lake is now such a special part of their relationship!

With the stunning backdrop of the water, this wedding showed how much Amber and Tyler love the outdoors. From Amber’s bouquet, to the boutonnieres, all the way to the reception center pieces. It was easy to see that these two share a love of hunting and fishing. I already felt like I knew this couple well by the time the reception started, however the speeches really showed how perfect this couple is.

Amber and Tyler had some truly amazing people speak during their reception. Every speech had a great mix of laughter and tears wrap together. Everyone spoke on how Amber and Tyler are the perfect match. Amber’s father spoke about how he did his research into Tyler when they first met, but in the end he more than approves of his new son-in-law. Amber’s brother had everyone in tears when he said he no longer needed to be Amber’s protector, because he trusts Tyler to take care of her. Tyler’s friends not only set up Amber and Tyler, but knew from day one that they would become husband and wife. Amber and Tyler are very lucky to have so much support coming from both sides. They will undoubtedly have a long and very happy marriage!
