Not All Pictures Have To Be Serious

I love the craziest bridal parties, the ones with bunny ears, crossed eyes, and tongues sticking out. But even these bridal parties freeze when I tell them it is time to be funny! At every wedding, I take individuals with the bride and groom and each member of the bridal party. However, after the picture-perfect smiling photo, I ask the unthinkable, I ask them if they want to be funny.

Most of the time I get a deer in the headlights kind of look. However, every once in a while, I have a groomsmen who is more than prepared and jumps up for a piggy back ride on an unsuspecting groom. Even though most people are hesitant at first to be funny, these are the pictures that are most often shared as profile pictures or on birthdays.

If you want some fun, candid shots of your bridal party, the best thing to do is give them a heads up. That way when I tell them it is time to be funny, they will be ready to go!

Bonus tip:

Don’t forget about the personal attendant and ushers! Have them jump in for a few fun shots as well!
