Hello there! My name is Alecs and I am so excited that you found my blog! Now it's time to cuddle up with your favorite furry friend, mine is my cat Goof, and start reading!
The 2020 wedding season has finally arrived! My first wedding of the year was absolutely perfect. Lexie and Dane worked through some difficult months of planning without knowing if a wedding would even be possible during a pandemic. However, they pushed forward with their plans and now they have a great story to tell!
Catch up on their engagement session and proposal story here!
Lexie and Dane planned an intimate celebration for their marriage. Their wedding ceremony was at Holy Cross Catholic Church in West Fargo. Thankfully, the beautiful church had plenty of space for their family and friends to come watch them become husband and wife. Although they were lucky enough to stick with their original wedding date, their reception plans were put on hold. Lexie and Dane put the safety of their loved ones first and moved their reception to 2021. They will have a full year of marriage to celebrate and it will be one amazing reception!
Lexie and Dane met during a party at his house. Dane invited his cousin and his cousin, Katie, invited Lexie. They met, went on their first date a few days later, and the rest is history! These two have the sweetest relationship and large support system around them. While giving a toast during their small family reception, Lexie started tearing up and thanked everyone for helping with the wedding. This year has been tough on a lot of people, so I can’t imagine also planning a wedding. Even though plans had to be downsized and tears were shed, their family and friends surrounded them and made their day perfect.
Congratulations Lexie and Dane!
