Rustic Oaks

Rustic Oaks is a short drive south of Fargo, making it the perfect destination wedding venue just outside Fargo-Moorhead! This beautiful farm wedding venue has an amazing outdoor ceremony location lined with trees to provide plenty of shade. They also have a modern event center building where your guests can eat, dance, and celebrate your marriage! The tall grass and location on the winding Red River create the dreamy backdrops for all of your wedding photography! Not to mention, the perfect location for end of the night sunset photos as well!

This beautiful farm wedding venue offers a large house with ten bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. There is enough room for your entire bridal party and/or your family members to stay the night. Then there is a separate house with a stunning bridal suite for getting ready! Since there are two houses, one for staying in and one for getting ready, you don’t have to worry about cleaning up all your belongings the morning of your wedding day! The bridal suite is clean and clutter free, perfect for getting ready photos.

The Meadows on Lind

The Meadows on Lind is only an hour drive from Fargo and located south of Detroit Lakes. It is a stunning lake-side venue with six different outdoor ceremony options! You can get married under their big tree or down by the lake. Their reception building has a large fireplace and windows everywhere you look letting in all the natural light you could ever want. For your wedding photos, there is a great variety between the tall trees and blue lake! If you are brave enough, you can even get in the boat and paddle around for a few extra romantic photos!

The Meadows on Lind has a large log-side house that can hold up to 20 guests! There is more than enough room for everyone and more than one living space so it does not feel too cramped.

The Barn at Five Lakes

Just outside Frazee, The Barn at Five Lakes is also only an hour drive from Fargo. This amazing white barn venue is stunning and you can choose between getting married under the 200 year-old oak tree, in the large pasture, or down by the lake! You can also put a tent up on the pasture area and use that as your reception space! There are so many options around this large wedding venue property! Don’t forget though, your reception can also be inside the hayloft of the large white barn!

For lodging, The Barn at Five Lakes has 11 cabins with everyone option from one bedroom to three bedrooms with a kitchen. Everyone can spread out and have their own space across all of the cabins!

North Shore – Duluth, MN

Grand Superior Lodge

Grand Superior Lodge is located right on Lake Superior. There is a beautiful patio with an arch for your lake-side wedding ceremony. The reception hall is inside the main building, making it easy for your guests to walk upstairs to their rooms at the end of the night! This North Shore wedding venue is also less than a five minute drive from Gooseberry Falls State Park. You can take pictures by pine trees, on the rocky beach by the water, or take a drive to Gooseberry Falls!

Grand Superior Lodge is made up of one main building and a handful of cabins around the property. Your friends, family, and all of your guests can stay over and pick out the perfect lodging options for themselves! Everyone can explore the shoreline and be right there for the wedding celebration as well.

Superior Shores is a stunning wedding venue with 2000 feet of pebble shoreline. If you have always dreamed of a wedding on the beach right by the lake, then this is the venue for you! Then when you are ready to dance the night away, the reception ballroom is in the main building. You will never run out of places to explore with your wedding photographer and with the access to the large shoreline, you can have those epic lake wide shots!

Larsmont Cottages

The North Shore of Minnesota is one place you will never run out of beautiful wedding venue options! The Larsmont Cottages is a perfect venue for an intimate destination wedding with your closest family and friends. You can say I do with the lake and pine trees as your backdrop, and then celebrate your marriage in their reception dining room that has amazing large windows! With plenty of pine trees, smores by the fire, and lakeside locations, every photo will have that cozy North Shore feel!

Your guests can spread out and everyone can have their own cottages at this wedding venue! The cottages are all lakeside and there are cozy firepits around the property to keep everyone warm during a winter wedding weekend!

Northern MN / Lake Country

Whitefish Lodge & Suites

Whitefish Lodge & Suites is a log cabin wedding venue in Cross Lakes, MN. It features a large fireplace that is the perfect centerpiece for your ceremony! One side of the ceremony room has floor to ceiling windows that over look the trees outside. You get the feel of a wood cabin, but with enough natural light to fill up the space! The reception hall is located just downstairs, so your guests can move seamlessly from the ceremony to the social hour and dinner. There are plenty of trees around the property for photos, and the Cross Lake Recreation Area is also just across the highway and perfect for photos!

Whitefish Lodge & Suites offers rooms for all of your guests and they just have to head upstairs from the reception to go to sleep at the end of the night!

Pine Peaks Event Center

Pines Peaks Event Center is located north of Brainerd, MN and has so much to offer! There are multiple outdoor ceremony locations, as well as, an indoor pavilion for year around wedding ceremonies! The large reception hall is perfect for bigger destination weddings! From tall pine trees, to beautiful gardens, there are so many photo locations around this wedding venue!

The large retreat house has enough room for 20 guests and the bridal suite has room for hair, make-up, and for everyone to get their dresses on! There is also a large porch for everyone to gather on and spend time together before the craziness of the wedding day begins!

Grand View Lodge

Grand View Lodge is also located north of Brainerd and is in the middle of a handful of MN lakes! You can have a grand wedding outside the main lodge, or a romantic wedding at their little white chapel. The main lodge has a grand staircase, a terrace, and a courtyard! The chapel is bright and clean, and would be the ideal spot for a more intimate wedding. The classy ballrooms are a great venue for your wedding reception and there is plenty of terrace space for your guests to spread out! This venue is very well manicured, and is a dreamy destination wedding venue no matter which ceremony location you pick!
