Adorable Summer Family Session at Lindenwood Park

I met this sweet family in Lindenwood  Park on the perfect evening for an adorable summer family session!  They have a energetic, yet shy, three year old and a beautiful sleepy newborn. We started by looking for caterpillars in the trees and ended by running back and forth from the tree to the sidewalk! All while the baby slept and then woke up to watch her sister run around. These two girls did so well though and we got so many great photos!

Later this year I will be photographing this family again for an extended family session. I can’t wait to work with them again!

This little girl loves wearing dresses and twirling, so we had plenty of dress twirling during our session!

She may only be four weeks old, but look at that eye contact with her mom!  She is such a sweet little baby!

This photo is one of my favorites!  I was focusing on the sweet baby’s eyes when her big sister wanted to join the photo!

She may have preferred running around, but eventually she held her dad’s hand and walked!  I love the little pink bows on her dress!

Being three is tough, especially when you are shy!  Thankfully she warmed up after they found “caterpillers” on the trees leaves!
