Family Oriented Wedding at RiverHaven Event Center – Moorhead, MN

Allison and Michael got married on a beautiful Tuesday morning. They had a dreamy wedding at RiverHaven Event Center in Moorhead and were lucky enough to have perfect weather. It was sunny and warm, but with a nice breeze that kept everyone comfortable. Allison and Michael wanted a simple weekday brunch wedding with family and friends. Their bridal party had  friends, family, and the five kids! It was such a fun group and they were ready to celebrate the newlyweds!

Everything about their wedding day was family oriented. The reception space had a children’s corner full of coloring pages, markers, and drawers done by the littles ones.  The bridal party walked down the aisle carrying the little kids who spent the ceremony being held and were very sweet as they watched the happy couple get married. Of course the day couldn’t end without a kid’s dance! All kids showed off their moves and had a great time while the adults watched, smiled, and chatted with each other.

Allison and Michael met at work where they are both ICU nurses. One night while Allison was working, her friend suggested they go out to the flight deck to get some fresh air and wake up. They were outside in the cool air when Michael walked up and proposed!  Allison said yes as her friend snapped photos of the happy moment! Now Allison and Michael are happily married and ready to spend their lives together.
