Jessica and Jacob are engaged and wanted to celebrate with some beautiful engagement photos at Cotton Lake! When I first starting talking with this couple, they mentioned their love of going to the lake and spending time with family. I asked which lake, and they just happened to be on the same lake as my in-laws! There are so many lakes in Minnesota, so it’s always crazy when I meet people who also visit Cotton Lake.

Since these two love going to the lake, we planned a sunny summer evening for engagement photos. Jessica and Jacob picked out a few perfect spots in the trees and along the water! It’s not very often I get to photograph lakeside engagement sessions, so I loved every second of this one. It truly was the perfect evening with plenty of sunshine coming through the trees!

Jessica and Jacob met while working at a nursing home together and now they are planning their beautiful wedding at the Plains Art Museum. These two love spending time together, whether it’s at home with their cat or outside soaking in the sun. Their wedding day is coming up fast and I can’t wait to celebrate with them!
