Fall Family Session in Lindenwood Park

There is nothing better on a snowy day, then looking through this adorable family’s fall family session! Thankfully, we were able to get these photos in before the daily high temps started to drop. It was a bit cold, but chasing the little guy through the park warmed everyone up! Who knew that family photography would be such a workout. And even through all of his extra energy, this little guy was all smiles! He lasted the entire session without losing his smile. I told him he needs to come to every family session with me!

I was also impressed with how great this family was after the weekend they had before our session. When this family first contacted me for family photos, they wanted to know if their dog could join. First of all, to anyone who is curious, I love animals!  I have photographed sessions with horses, dogs, and everything in-between! Unfortunately, a few hours before their original session time, their dog became sick and they had to reschedule to fit in a vet visit. We rescheduled for the next week and ended up with a beautiful evening with no rain. However, their poor dog did not make it through the weekend. In honor of their lost, we took a few photos with the dog’s photo, collar, and his favorite blanket. Even though it is heartbreaking that their dog did not make it, they at least have some beautiful photos to remember him by.

I love this one so much! It is such a simple picture of a boy and his dog.
