Kylie and Kristian had the perfect fall wedding day at Riverhaven Events Center. The forecast all week was threatening rain, but the day arrived and it was perfect. We started photos at the bell tower at Concordia College, where Kylie and Kristian met! They used to walked past each other on campus before they knew each other. It was so sweet to return to this spot for their first look on their wedding day.

While Kristian had wild aspirations for a grand proposal, when push came to shove the desire to simply become engaged took priority. A few weeks after designing and ordering a ring together, Kristian got down on one knee on a bike trail in Mandan and popped the question. The answer was a resounding yes!

One of the best qualities of Riverhaven is the three unique spaces. Kylie and Kristian’s family gathered in the ceremony space overlooking the Red River and the fall colors to see Kylie and Kristian become husband and wife. Everyone then moved outside to the cool fall air to enjoy live music and the social hour. Kristian and his siblings joined the band until it was time for dinner! The feeling of fall was brought back inside to the reception space that was filled with fall decorations and flowers. The entire day had the perfect amount of coziness as friends and family members gathered to celebrate the newlyweds.
