Brinley and Joey had the perfect fall wedding day at Rustic Oaks. It was unseasonably warm, very little wind, and a few trees were still holding on to their colorful leaves! The fall day was perfect for their outdoor wedding ceremony at Rustic Oaks. We were able to take full advantage of all the beautiful spaces around the venue for plenty of photos! Then the bride and groom hid inside as their loved ones arrived for the ceremony.

Brinley and Joey met through a mutual friend. This sweet couple travels often for work and ended up getting engaged in Rapid City. Joey’s parents came to visit them for a long weekend and they decided to go sightseeing. Everyone was at Custer State Park and they stopped at Lake Sylvan to hike. Joey found the perfect spot and waited until only their family was around. He asked Brinley to marry him and she said yes!

Their wedding day was perfect, with family and friends gathering to celebrate with the newlyweds. The reception space was full of laughter and dancing, while outside the bonfire was lit for guests to enjoy! Brinley and Joey moved from one area to the next, catching up with loved ones and enjoying their evening!
