Blazek Family – Plains Art Museum

Indoor Family Session at the Plains Art Museum – Fargo, ND

This beautiful family contacted me looking for a fun and unique family session!  One of the daughters has been taking their family photos for years with a camera, tripod, and a timer. She has been doing a great job, but they were ready to hand it off to a photographer and allow everyone to have fun with it this year! We ended up planning an amazing indoor family session at the Plains Art Museum on the third floor. The third floor is used for events and allows rentals when there are no events booked. I love the large bright windows, the open concept, and the exposed bricks and beams.  We definitely found somewhere unique for their photos. And an added bonus, the space was big enough for everyone!

This family has two loving parents, eight amazing siblings, and three significant others!  Not to mention, there were two proposals just a few weeks and days before this family session! I loved working with this family and getting to know and talk to everyone. They may all be from the same big family, but they each have their own personalities and interests. After taking a few full family photos, we broke down into couples and individuals.  That’s when their personalities started to shine!

One of the best parts of photographing big families, is seeing how they interact with each other. There is so much love and joy in this group and they were a blast to photograph!

Send me a message and we can talk about all things photography!
