Hello there! My name is Alecs and I am so excited that you found my blog! Now it's time to cuddle up with your favorite furry friend, mine is my cat Goof, and start reading!
Sometimes, as a photographer, I am lucky enough to follow a family through many milestones in their lives! I am so thankful that this is one of those families. Their wedding was on of my first I photographed and they were so sweet to trust a young photographer. Sadly, their wedding was a few years before I launched my blog, which makes it hard to share! However, I added a wedding photo to the end of this blog post to see how far this family has come! Since their wedding, I have photographed their family a handful of times. Most recently, I met up with them for spring photos at Orchard Glen Park.
Orchard Glen Park is the go-to location for spring blooms in Fargo. There are so many beautiful flowering trees! Although, this is still Fargo, which means we have a lot of wind as well and wind means the flowers last only a few days. Thankfully, we were able to find a few trees that were still holding onto their flowers.
Even though I have photographed this family a few times before, there is a new addition since I last saw them! Their youngest just turned one years old and they wanted some photos to celebrate. What a perfect reason to update family photos!
These sisters love each other so much! I can tell they are going to be best friends for life.
Little Avery didn’t want to smile for the camera a lot, but when she did, it was extra adorable!
These sisters are so grown up!
And now time for a photo from the Alecs Kay Photography vaults! Here is one of their wedding photos!
Is it time to update your family photos? Whether it is spring photos at Orchard Glen or summer photos in Downtown Fargo, send me a message and we can chat!
