Samantha and Benjamin wedding day at the Avalon Events Center was amazing! The day started out quiet and relaxed, with Samantha getting ready with both sets of parents. The parents chatted and watched tv, while Samantha finished getting ready. Then, after a teary first look with her dad, Samantha was ready to head to the park to see Benjamin! It was windy, but warm which was perfect for an early May wedding.

These two knew they would be getting married and Benjamin was just waiting to get a ring and find the perfect time to propose. Samantha expected the proposal to come after the holidays, but Benjamin surprised her early! Before Thanksgiving, Benjamin came home with ice cream and a piece of cake. When Samantha asked what it was for, he said to celebrate and pulled out the ring box. Benjamin wanted Samantha to be able to show the ring off to family over the holidays!

One of my favorite parts of this wedding day was how Samantha and Benjamin included their family. Samantha’s uncle was their officiant, their parents gave speeches, and their cousins got the dance floor going right away! Samantha and Benjamin even played first dance songs for other couples and they were able to share a dance to their wedding song. Watching their parents, aunt and uncle, and some friends dance to their first dance songs was so sweet!
