Another beautiful 2020 wedding celebrating the marriage of two amazing people is in the books! Emily and Jordan had to work through a lot of changes for their wedding day. They started planning, and replanning all through 2020! Then just a few days before their wedding, another set of event restrictions were put announced for Minnesota. Emily and Jordan stayed calm and knew the most important thing to them was to have their parents at their beautiful wedding at Trinity Lutheran Church. They narrowed their guest list down to less than 20 people, including just their bridal party, parents, and Emily’s grandmother.
Emily and Jordan met at MSUM. They started college in the same dorm and major. Emily messaged Jordan to help her study for a final in a class she was actually doing better than him in! He agreed to help and that was the first time they hung out. I’m sure Emily is glad she asked him to help her study, because they started dating and ended up engaged and planning their dream wedding!
Even though it wasn’t the wedding they had originally planned, they day turned out perfectly. Their parents and bridal party stayed safe and healthy and were all able to attend the ceremony. After the ceremony, Emily and Jordan planned to drive around to nearby friends and family and wave. However, their bridal party had other plans! As the newlyweds said their vows inside the church, a line of cars was forming around the block.
Emily’s sisters had spent the last few days putting together a parade of cars filled with Emily and Jordan’s loved ones! Emily and Jordan stepped out of the church and were greeted by car after car of well-wishers, who honked and waved at the happy couple. It was the perfect start to their marriage and the best way to celebrate!
Congratulations again Emily & Jordan!
