Cloudy Engagement Session in Downtown Fargo

August seems to be the time for engagement sessions this year!  I love spending time with all these amazing couples!  Last week, the weather held off and I photographed Danae and Connor’s engagement session. Now, Danae may look familiar if you have been following my blog lately, and it’s probably because I photographed her twin sister’s wedding earlier this summer! I met Danica and Danae back in college and love getting to know their significant others now as well.

August is a great time for photo sessions, but the weather can be a bit unpredictable!  The morning of the session, the forecast had a of rain all day. I thought for sure we would have to reschedule. However, the chance of rain started to lower and it was only sprinkling that afternoon. Thankfully, it was dry for the photos, especially because Danae is a teacher and we were running out of days before the busy school season started up! We may not have gotten the perfect sunset, but Danae and Connor were full of laughter and love throughout the session. The love these two share for each other, as well as their puppy, is easy to see!

Danae and Connor got engaged last summer during a dream trip to Banff National Park. Their trip was full of hiking, sightseeing, and spending time together. It was already a perfect trip and then Connor got down on one knee and proposed!  Danae of course said yes and they enjoyed the rest of their trip together as an engaged couple!
