Kristen and Mike got married on a beautiful day in Watertown, SD! The day started out windy and rainy, but the sun came out just in time for photos and was shining for most of the day. When everyone was safely inside the reception, it rain for awhile more and it was great listening to the rain fall outside. Kristen and Mike were so thankful for the sunny weather for their wedding day, and were also thankful for the rain for the crops!

Before proposing to Kristen, Mike went went out to the combine to ride with her dad and ask his permission. He then came and picked Kristen up, but her dad called and said her cows were out. They got to the gate and Mike asked her to be with him forever. Kristen of course said yes and now they are happily married!

Kristen and Mike are both very passionate about their work. Mike has his crops and Kristen has her cows. Their cake topper was even two cows as the bride and groom! Since the farm is such a big part of their lives, they did their engagement session at the family farm, as well as their wedding reception! It was the perfect space for all their guests, and plenty of room for all the kids to run and play.
