Hello there! My name is Alecs and I am so excited that you found my blog! Now it's time to cuddle up with your favorite furry friend, mine is my cat Goof, and start reading!
Spring is finally here in North Dakota! We are finally above freezing and the snow is starting to melt. It also means it’s time for engagement sessions to start up again! Erica and Derek picked the perfect Saturday for an early spring engagement session in Island Park. Although temperatures are warmer where Erica is going to school, Derek and I were happy it was almost 40 degrees outside! The only downside of warmer weather is it was hard to keep our feet dry with all the melting snow. Both Downtown Fargo and Island Park were full of puddles and running water! However, we still found some amazing places to take engagement photos!
Erica and Derek’s story starts years ago when they met working the same summer job, which just happened to be in a corn field! There is nothing more Midwestern than meeting your future husband in a corn field! The two of them passed the time at work by talking to each other. They told me it made the heat and the fact they were in a corn field more bearable! No wonder they wanted an spring engagement session. It was much cooler and a lot less corn than how they first met! I will have to add this to my list of my unique places my couples have ever met!
Engagement season is here! Send me a message and we can chat all things wedding!
