Sweet Small Town Wedding in Hitterdal, MN

Kayla and Jacob are married!  These two had the perfect August day for a wedding. It was mid-70’s with plenty of sunshine! They chose their small town church for the ceremony and a nearby barn venue, The Hitching Post, for the reception. It was the perfect combination!  We were lucky enough to take photos at both locations and get a really fun variety of photos!

Kayla and Jacob really luck out when it comes to beautiful weather.  Their wedding day was the perfect temperate, just like their engagement photos!  We met back in February for some winter photos to celebrate their engagement. Compared to now, it was really cold, however above freezing in February is pretty amazing! We had a perfect sunny day back then, and now they had a perfect sunny wedding day to match!

This bride and groom have the sweetest family and friends that supported and celebrated with them throughout the day. Jacob’s grandpa was the designated videographer and he made sure to get all the special moments! After family photos, Kayla’s grandma told me how Kayla and Jacob are the perfect couple and she loves seeing them together.  Their sweet bridal party was so much fun and brought plenty of snacks and water for the bride and groom throughout the day. During speeches, Jacob’s father spoke about his three sons and how lucky he is to now have three amazing daughter-in-laws. There was just so much love during every moment of the day!
