Hello there! My name is Alecs and I am so excited that you found my blog! Now it's time to cuddle up with your favorite furry friend, mine is my cat Goof, and start reading!
Fargo has so many amazing places to get married, but it’s hard to compare to a lakeside wedding in Two Harbors, MN! Lake Superior is beautiful year-around with its dark blue water and shore of oversized rocks. Kassie and Sean’s wedding day was overcast, but thankfully not too cold! The lake was crashing up on the rocks, but still allowed us to get close for portraits.
When I asked Kassie and Sean if they were feeling brave enough to climb down onto the lakeside rocks in their dress and suit, they said of course! Kassie had spent the last few months dreaming of the perfect lakeside portrait of her and her new husband to hang in their living room wall. Out on the rocks with the lake spraying them and no protection from the November wind, magic happened and we got so many dreamy bride and groom photos!
Kassie and Sean met through mutual friends while they both were a part of the Pride of the North Athletic Bands at UND. Their wedding day was intimate, but was filled with so much love from their family and of course their band friends! Besides their love of music, they also love laughing, spending time together, and watching hockey! Once things start to return to normal and it’s safe to travel again, they plan to go to Colorado for their honeymoon and see an NHL game while they are there.
Kassie and Sean have the sweetest, laid back, proposal story! Sean had plans to take Kassie to a movie and a nearby brewery, but then she got stuck working. When Kassie got home, she changed into comfortable clothing and Sean popped the question! It was simple, sweet, and perfect.
Congratulations again Kassie and Sean!
