Best of Alecs Kay Photography 2018

It’s almost New Year’s Eve, which must mean we are heading into 2019 sooner than later! It is always fun to end the year by looking back at everything I have done.

This year has been a crazy one.  If you have been reading the blog for a year, you may remember I said the same thing for the best of 2017 post.  You may have thought things would slow down for me after I got married. However, this year continued the craziness!  I started the year in Bismarck with my husband. We spent most of our engagement and all of our first year of marriage in Bismarck. We traveled almost every weekend back to Fargo to visit family and for photo sessions. Then, thankfully, an odd turn of events landed us back in Fargo to end the year!

Now that we are living in Fargo again, I have even more photo sessions as well as plenty of time with my nephew. Some days I have to plan time just to keep up with the business side of things!  Last year I mentioned my new website and blog. Those have both been going strong for over a year now!  You can look back at the weddings, engagements, family sessions, and even some travel posts! I thought the blog would be a great way to share my work with clients, but I never imagined it would also be a virtual log of everything I accomplished in the year!  I love looking back and seeing all my amazing clients I got to work with throughout the year.

Now for the biggest change of the year, well the biggest business change at least!  I have officially change my name to Alecs Kay Photography. Not only was it a great year for AKP Photography, but also its last. I have decided it is time to use my name instead of initials. So here is to a great first year of Alecs Kay Photography!
